Girls out Late is a novel by Jacqueline Wilson, published in 1999.
This story is 3rd in the 'Girls' series. It's written in first-person. The main character is a girl called Eleanor "Ellie" Allard. She's not the most attractive girl. She's comfy girl size and has frizzy hair and glasses. Ellie and her two friends are out in Flowerfields shopping centre. There she meets a handsome boy called Russell. Russell is very intrested in Ellie and takes a liking for her. They both go to the park where they chat and kiss. They stay out very, very late.

- In the chapter illustration for the chapter Dangerous Times, the clock face shows the number three after where it would be (where there is a skull in the place of it).
