Template:Infobox Sleepovers is a book by Jacqueline Wilson published in 2001. The story is about Daisy, who hangs out with her friends Amy, Bella, Chloe and Emily: 'The Alphabet Club', which was formed by Daisy herself. While she goes to their birthday sleepovers, she's worried that her retarded veggie sister Lily, wouldn't spoil her sleepover.
The main character, Daisy, has just moved to a new school and has made friends with Amy, Bella, Chloe and Emily. They have a special secret Alphabet Club, due to their names beginning with the first five letters of the alphabet (Amy, Bella, Chloe, Daisy and Emily). When Amy has a sleepover for her eighth birthday, the others decide they will all do the same, but Daisy is worried about how her friends will react to her big sister Lily, who has had special needs since she was born. Edit
Daisy is invited to Amy, Bella and Emily's sleepovers with no hesitation, but Chloe takes more persuading (she deliberately didn't invite Daisy, but covered this up by saying 'her mum said she could only have three people there'), and only gives in when the others refuse to go en masse unless Daisy can. lily is a very SPECIAL child. She has had autism spectrum disorder since birth. Edit
At Daisy's party, Amy, Bella and Emily all like Lily, but Lily got over-excited after seeing a toy teddy bear that was part of a present from Emily, and has to be put to bed. Chloe (who deliberately turned up late) took the mickey out of Lily for having a rather large chair and also warned Daisy she had better be more careful with her big sister. In the middle of the night Chloe needed to go to the toilet so she woke up Daisy and then hand in hand they both went inside upstairs. When they got to the top of the stairs Chloe got a bit scared because all she could hear was 'UR UR UR UR UR' and she did not know that it was Lily (Chloe associated 'UR UR UR UR UR' with a white witchy ghost movie watched earlier that day); Chloe wets herself with fear.
